There’s no getting away from the desire of wanting to blow up cars, set parts of Berkeley on fire, dress up in drag, and ultimately do whatever it takes to be as bad as can be. The highlight of Youth In Revolt was Nick Twisp’s alter ego Francois. Dressed in a slightly sheer blue button shirt, white pants, and shoes that are so typically French that they must have been pulled off some unsuspecting beach goer in the French Riviera, Cera shows how well he can pull off character acting.
